Last Update: 4.3.08
This loot list is dedicated for helping you gear up your shaman as best as possible. This list includes items from the Burning Crusade expansion as of patch 2.2,
but no raid content or pre-expansion loot. The list is split into the following parts:
Please note: This list is by no means a "shaman's have exclusive rights to this" equip list. Please be considerate of your group members
and respect loot rules. You will most likely be in direct competition with the druid until lvl 40, and your talent tree choices will probably
put you in competition with other classes.

With the proliferation of +spellpower mail in the expansion, the Elemental Shaman is becoming a top choice
for many. Elemental also synergizes well with Restoration making it very popular for end-game as well. The main
stats for an Elemental Shaman are: Spellpower/crit, and INT.

Enhancment is by far the levelers build of choice, but is having increasing issues in end-game, and is arguably
the weakest PvP build. That said, an Enhancement Shaman can put out suprising melee DPS while yeilding excellent
buff to their party. The choice of Dual Wield vs Two-Hand comes down to personal preference of burst dps (2-hand) vs
sustained DPS (DW). Both builds will want gear with +STR/AP, Crit/AGI, and Hit but DW builds will especially try for a
lot of Hit to keep white damage high. Also, due to the recent change (nerf) of Windfury proc'ing a maximum of
once every 3 seconds, both builds will now look for slow, high-max damage weapon(s).

Restoration has been popular with players, and guilds, for quite some time. Properly geared, a Restoration Shaman
can give solid heals and does suprsingly well in PvP. As with all non-offensive type specs, Restoration is less then
ideal for grinding, but is reliable and has loads of survivability. Stats for Restoration Shamans are: Heal, INT, and
Mana/5. Spirit, while fairly profilic on Restoration gear, is not a very strong stat due to the delay in casting to regen.
