This loot list is dedicated for helping you gear up your warlock as best as possible. This list includes all Azeroth (pre-Burning
Crusade) loot up to patch 2.3, but no end-game content or Outland gear. The list is split into the following parts:
Please note: This list is by no means a "warlock's have exclusive rights to this" equip list. Please be considerate of
your group members and respect loot rules. Mages and priests will want to roll on many of the items listed here, please be
mindful of gear that would most likely better serve them (ie +healing/ +fire/ +ice dmg).
New for 1.10, the Deathmist Raiment warlock set is obtained by completing a long series of quests
which will upgrade your Dreadmist set. You will need the corresponding dreadmist set piece for each step in the upgrade process.
This damage over time tree is extremely popular with leveling Warlocks due to its buffs to minimizing downtime and great DPS
talents. The key talents include Fel Concentration / Soul Siphon / Siphon Life / Improved Life / Dark Pact for drain life
tanking and Nightfall, Improved Corruption, Improved Agony, and Unstable Affliction for big DoT damage. 3 points in Supression
is all that is needed to maximize your hit against opponents +2 levels above your own and makes a huge difference.
This pet boosting tree is another very popular leveling build. It's 41-point talent Felguard is the reason enough for many
Warlocks to switch to immediately when available (at 50) as before hand the drain taking power of Afflication comes on top for
downtime and damage potential.
The direct damage boosting Destruction tree, while popular with high-end raiders, pales in comparison to the solo power of the
Demologist or the inital damage potential of Afflication. Although certainly viable for leveling, few Warlocks will both going
deep in this tree until they hit 70 and starting acquiring epic-level gear.
